Press Kits

Guide

A press kit in Envoy is two things: an internal library your team curates (assets and reference links), and an optional public page built from that curation - off by default, and entirely your choice whether to turn it on.

Assets

Upload logos, photos, and other files - images get a thumbnail, everything else a generic file icon. Each asset has an editable description and dimensions. It's the same library as the Mediapage - this tab is for curating what goes in the kit, day-to-day uploads are usually easier from there. Delete an asset with the option to remove the underlying file too, or just the record.

Links

A simple bookmark list - a label, a URL, and optional notes, each with a one-click copy button. Use it for things you reference often but don't host in Envoy: a shared drive folder of past releases, a brand guidelines doc, anything worth keeping a link to.

The public page

The Public Kit tab is where you turn the internal library into something you can actually hand a journalist. Point it at somewhere you already host a kit (a Drive folder, your own site) with a plain link, or let Envoy host it for you by uploading a zip - either way, toggle "Publicly accessible" on and you get a stable URL, with a one-click regenerate if you ever need to revoke and reissue it. Off by default, so nothing here is public until you explicitly turn it on.

Not the same as Brand Positioning

Brand Positioning (its own item in the sidebar) is a separate feature: bios, key selling points, traction, company facts, and more, organised into Voice & Story, Business Facts, and Content & Channels - used as context for Envoy's AI drafting whenever it writes press releases, pitches, or other copy for you. It doesn't appear on or feed the press kit in any way; the two just happen to sit next to each other in the sidebar.
