Analytics

Guide

Analytics connects your own website's traffic data - from Plausible or Google Analytics 4 - so you can look at it next to your PR activity. It's set up from Settings → Analytics connections rather than its own sidebar item, since it's a single focused view rather than a full section of the app.

Connecting a site

Add a connection with your site's identifier (a domain for Plausible, a property ID for GA4) and an API key for that provider. Envoy pulls just visitors and pageviews per day - nothing more granular like page paths or referrers.

What you actually see

Opening a connection shows an Analytics page with a "PR attribution" chart: your visitor and pageview trend over time, with the days you sent a pitch marked directly on the line. Hovering a marked day shows which contacts and campaigns you pitched that day, so you can eyeball whether a traffic bump lines up with outreach you sent. It's a lightweight correlation view, not a full analytics dashboard - there's no bounce rate, conversion tracking, or goal completions.

Not the same as Reports

The Reports page (under Insights) is a separate, CRM/PR-only view - pipeline value and conversion, activity counts, and contact stats - and doesn't include any website traffic data. Nothing here is blended into Reports, and nothing from Reports appears on the Analytics page; they're two independent views that happen to both live under reporting-flavoured parts of the app.
