Setting up your organisation

Everything in Envoy belongs to an organisation - your company, agency, or project. You create one when you sign up, and every contact, deal, and brand you create afterwards lives inside it.

Go to app.envoycrm.com/signup and fill in two short steps:

• Your organisation's name and its URL (e.g. your-company, giving you app.envoycrm.com/o/your-company) - Envoy suggests one from the name, but you can change it.
• Your own name, email, and a password, for the admin account you're creating.

That's it - no credit card required. Every new organisation starts on a 14-day trial with full Growth-tier access, so you can try everything before deciding on a plan. A first brand is created automatically, named after your organisation (you can rename it, or add more - see Brands).

Self-hosting instead

Prefer to run Envoy yourself? The same codebase is free to self-host permanently, with no licence key. A freshly deployed instance walks you through a first-run setup wizard instead of the hosted signup form - your admin account and first brand, in one flow, no organisation URL to choose since a self-hosted instance only ever has one organisation.

Choosing a plan

Your trial doesn't require a decision up front. When you're ready - during the trial or after it ends - open Settings → Billing to compare plans and upgrade; this hands off to a secure Stripe checkout, so Envoy itself never touches your card details. See pricing for what each tier includes. If you don't upgrade, your organisation moves to the Free plan once the trial ends rather than losing access outright.

Inviting your team

From Settings → Users, an admin can invite a new member by name, email, and role:

• Admin - full access to every brand and every setting, including billing and team management.
• Standard - full access by default too, but can be restricted to specific brands if your organisation runs more than one.

Envoy emails the invite automatically when the instance has email configured; otherwise you'll get a one-time link to send them yourself. Either way, they set their own password when they accept it - nobody but the new member ever knows it.
