Envoy CRM vs Salesforce
Built for a sales org with an admin. Not for you, yet.
Salesforce is the industry-standard enterprise CRM, and there's a reason large sales organisations still run on it: near-unlimited customisation, a huge integration ecosystem, and a deep talent pool of admins who know how to configure it. What it isn't built for is a solo founder or small studio signing up and being productive the same afternoon - realistically, getting Salesforce properly set up means a dedicated administrator or a paid implementation consultant, not a self-serve signup.
Salesforce's pricing
From roughly $25/user/month (Starter Suite) up to $330+/user/month (Unlimited) - most of its functionality sits behind the $80–165/user/month Professional/Enterprise tiers, with AI (Einstein/Agentforce) and much of the wider platform priced separately again as add-ons.

Where Salesforce genuinely wins
Salesforce's customisability and ecosystem are hard to match at large enterprise scale - that's exactly why large sales organisations still choose it. That scale, and the implementation cost that comes with it, isn't what a solo founder or small studio needs on day one.
The bottom line
If you're already running a large sales organisation with a dedicated admin, Salesforce's depth is an asset, not a cost to avoid. If you're a founder or small studio who wants to be sending pitches and tracking deals the same day you sign up - with press/media tooling Salesforce doesn't have at all - Envoy CRM is built for exactly that, not a smaller version of Salesforce.
